Marcus Mok is a full time professional photographer specialising in portraits of children, families, couples, individuals, corporate groups and even pets. For many years he has also specialised in the increasingly popular nude and semi nude portraits, being one of the pioneers in the field in Singapore, and he featured in a documentary on nude photography on Channel News Asia entitled Millenials.
Marcus has photographed eminent people such as the Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG, a former Justice of the High Court of Australia, local celebrities such as Tay Ping Hui, Patricia Mok and Michelle Chia. Some of Marcus’ artistic nude images have been collected by the Singapore Art Museum, as well as by private collectors around the world.
The photographs of Marcus Mok have been exhibited internationally and been published in international magazines. His candid portrait of a Hutong Guard in Beijing was listed in the Top 40 out of more than 1000 images in the Mosaic Asian Travel photography competition.
He is also well practised in taking interesting lifestyle-type family portraits as well as more formal corporate portraits of lawyers, estate agents, etc for their corporate profile, business cards, advertising and websites. Aspiring models also come to Marcus to have their creative modelling portfolios taken.
